Windows 10: Windows 10 not starting

Hi my computer will boot up showing the computer name then change to first screen with the windows picture and basically thats it. I can swipe the mouse pad to make the time and date appear but as soon as I left click or try any function keys the date disappears and nothing happens. I have tried to press F11 but nothing. I have tried using the top left on/off button to turn off and on 3 times. (tried this a few times) There is no power symbol in bottom right of screen when date comes up - just the battery and wifi . Anyone know what to do?

Windows 10: In the new version of Windows, Explorer has a section called Quick Access. This includes your frequent folders and recent files. Explorer defaults to opening this page when you open a new window. If you’d rather open the usual This PC, with links to your drives and library folders, follow these steps:

• Open a new Explorer window.
• Click View in the ribbon.
• Click Options.
• Under General, next to “Open File Explorer to:” choose “This PC.”
• Click OK
