Windows 10: Windows 10 not working after updates in Asus TUF B450-PLUS II

Hi, I recently upgraded my motherboard to Asus TUF B450-PLUS II, my CPU is a Ryzen 7 3700x 8-Core, I've got a CD version of WIndows 10 Pro but everytime that I install it, after some automatic updates, when the system reboots, the screen, keyboard and mouse turn off and I need to turn off the PC from the turning on button in the case. The only way to start Windows then is in security mode after turning it on and off a few times or installing Windows from 0 again. I tried to install WIndows 11 to see if that fixes the problem but it says I need to change to UEFI mode. I have OS Type in the BIO

Why is the better of 2 Asus B450 motherboards cheaper in price?

Wanting to buy and reading here and there about motherboards I came upon these 2:

I don't know if I can post links here but on a few websites, for example, versus, these 2 motherboards have similar specs, an equal overall score but one is preferred showing this:.

But this better board is actually about $40 cheaper. How can this be so? If they were from 2 different manufacturers I'd understand but they are not. Can anyone help me please. I was going to buy the more expensive one but then I saw this (based on what a vendor suggested) so now I am confused--totally.

Why is the better of 2 Asus B450 motherboards cheaper in price?

The cheaper one that you list is cheaper mostly because it is a microATX board, rather than a full-sized one.

mATX boards typically have fewer slots for peripheral cards (like the graphics card). They may also hav efewer RAM slots, but the Strix and the TUF have the same number.

ECC memory has an extra bit per byte to allow error correction. It is rarely available on desktop boards. It's mostly used on servers. (I wonder whether the TUF actually can use error correction?) ECC DRAM costs more than non-ECC RAM, usually.

If you want to know more about RAM support, download the QVL (qualified vendors list) for both boards. (Incidentally, DDR4 4400 appears on the list for the Strix. Whether it supports running at that frequency, I don't know. All faster RAM will probably default to DDR4 2133; you'd have to turn on XMP in the BIOS settings.)

USB-C is nice, if you have any USB-C devices to plug into it.

What CPU do you intend to use? If it's a Ryzen Gen3, I suggest getting an X570 board rather than a B450 one. There don't seem to be a lot of mATX boards available (at least at Newegg), but serviceable ones start at about $150. The Asus TUF Gaming X570 Plus (not the WiFi version) is $165. It has two PCI-E 4.0 M.2 slots.
