Windows 10: Windows 10 not working at all (qlkm virus)

Discus and support Windows 10 not working at all (qlkm virus) in Windows 10 Ask Insider to solve the problem; I'm not able to do anything. When I turn on my pc, I'm not able to use the windows button, open any app, nothing is visible at all except my wallpaper....     Windows 10 not working at all (qlkm virus)


    I'm not able to do anything. When I turn on my pc, I'm not able to use the windows button, open any app, nothing is visible at all except my wallpaper. Task manager is not responding. This happened right after I upgraded to Windows 10 pro. The last thing I remember is all my files were having a .qlkm extension which I think is the most possible cause. How do I fix this? Please help.

    Pressing “Windows+Pause Break” (it’s up there next to scroll lock) opens the “System” Window.

    Windows 10: In the new version of Windows, Explorer has a section called Quick Access. This includes your frequent folders and recent files. Explorer defaults to opening this page when you open a new window. If you’d rather open the usual This PC, with links to your drives and library folders, follow these steps:

    • Open a new Explorer window.
    • Click View in the ribbon.
    • Click Options.
    • Under General, next to “Open File Explorer to:” choose “This PC.”
    • Click OK

    Since none of the troubleshooting steps here worked, I'd suggest you do a Clean install.
