Windows 10: Windows 10 not working at all

I am more curious than anything now, as to why my windows 10 pc refused to function at all after waking up from sleep mode. I got home and woke up my computer like normal, I know I should turn it off more but I do restart / turn it off most of the time. But when I went to click on Chrome it only opened it for a second and the minimized it and after that my mouse didn't work at all, and all i could do with my keyboard was open and close task manager with alt f4, and ctrl alt delete worked. My mouse could move but clicking did nothing, hovering over icons never highlighted anything, and click

Windows 10: In the new version of Windows, Explorer has a section called Quick Access. This includes your frequent folders and recent files. Explorer defaults to opening this page when you open a new window. If you’d rather open the usual This PC, with links to your drives and library folders, follow these steps:

• Open a new Explorer window.
• Click View in the ribbon.
• Click Options.
• Under General, next to “Open File Explorer to:” choose “This PC.”
• Click OK
