Windows 10: Windows 10 Notification Sounds Not Playing When Listening To Music

I have a new problem with my notifications.


The notifications will come in but won't play an alert noise if something else is already making noise Like Spotify or Youtube. The noise is not being drowned out, it just doesn't play. It plays just fine if I'm just sitting on my desktop doing nothing, but that kind of defeats the purpose of a computer.

How to listen to [Android phone's music] from [a headphone that is connected to a Windows 10 desktop] without internet connection?
I have an Android phone (Pixel 3a) with YouTube Music installed on it.

When I don't have internet connection, I want to be able to wear my headphone, which is connected to my desktop (Windows 10) and listen to both my desktop's audio (for example, game sound) and the music playing on my phone (for example, music that is available only on the phone's YouTube Music offline downloaded folder).

How can I achieve this?

Note:

• I searched on the internet and it seems like Windows 10 doesn't have bluetooth support by default that support audio streaming from phone to PC. People seems to be able to install a different bluetooth driver and get it to work, but I can't get it to work. (if you can get it to work please list the exact step)

Windows 10 / No Notification Sound

Hello, any updates?

My windows 10 still cannot play notification sounds. When I click on play at sounds window, it plays but it doesn't when the related action occur such as device connect etc. Also I don't have any sound issues while playing a game, listening a music etc.
Only notification sounds aren't playing. And I really need to hear them!

What is the solution?

 

No System Notification Sounds Play After Update To Windows 1809.

My I have 3 machines (1 desktop + 2 x laptops) all which were running the same version of Windows 10 Pro 1803.

The desktop PC was the first to update from 1803 to 1809 (updated in the background while I was working), and the 2 laptops I had to force the updates to 1809. All seemed to be running well on the desktop, until I noticed that when I connect or disconnect removable drives, the notification pop-up shows, but there is not sound that plays. Other system notification sounds also do not play.

Initially I thought that this was how the latest update is supposed to be, until I noticed that the 2 laptops were playing the normal system notification sounds. When I go into the sound settings, the sounds play with the setting on "Windows Default", and I have already tried to set it to "No Sounds" and then back to default again, and the sounds remain silent when they should play.

I even tried unistalling and automatically reinstalling the audio drivers (my motherboard is a AsRock H97 Performance board) and I tried installing the last drivers listed on the website, and also let Windows 10 automatically install drivers, and still nothing.

All other audio from music, videos and other applications play just fine on the desktop machine, but just not the system sounds.

I know other people have posted about this on here, but I've looked into the most obvious troubleshooting, and have not had any luck.

Any other suggestions would be welcome.
