Windows 10: Windows 10 notifications not working

Over the last few days my Windows 10 notifications stop working, If I open settings and try to check focus assist my settings screen closes not allowing me to access focus assist, if I reboot my PC all goes back to normal with me receiving notifications and settings/focus assist working.

I'm not sure how long but my notifications will stop working with the same fault with settings/focus assist happening again.

Once I can access focus assist (rebooting PC) my automatic rule are off, I have run an SFC scan with hasn't highlighted any errors.

I am using Windows 10 Home, version 1803 OS build 17134.254

Any advise would be appreciated.

Yeah, thats not a solution she is interested in......I've suggested that course of action. Thanks though.

Just to clarify, I feel that there MUST be a step, or series of steps to turn off JUST the wireless notification sound. Thats what Im driving @ here.

DTS supported natively by Windows 8/8.1 and it should work on windows 10 too just DDL require to unlock your driver .
