    Windows 10 November update problems.


    Hi,


    In the last few days my laptop running Windows 10 has, as usual, automatically updated, the most recent being 13/11/2020. However, on both occasions, the update has gotten stuck towards the end of the process leaving me staring at a black screen with the white dots spinning round for hours at a time. CTR ALT DEL did nothing and so twice following an update, I've had no recourse but to to a hard, power off/on boot which is probably not good for the computer nor my nerves. On these occasions the computer eventually started up not in safe mode and things ran normally. I'd like to know what can be done to avoid this with future updates I've hit pause on updates for the moment or am I stuck with this problem? I would hope not, as things were fine before these updates. I apologise in advance for not being very "techy" I'm afraid, but I would like some advice on this annoying and worrying issue. Thanks!
