Windows 10: WIndows 10 OBS studio problem

So I installed OBS Studio on my laptop.but when It created a shortcut on my desktop, this happened The logo on desktop is not looking fine but then on the taskbar it seems to be fine, and just for info I reinstalled it , removed and remade the desktop shortcut

Hi lads.

Do any of you know or have used OBS Studio?

Since last week i am streaming on Twich but unfortunately yesterday i have had to stop doing it due lag or buffering, from my monitor to OBS the Game doesn't lag or keep buffering but in the Twich window it does, maybe i am missing some setting, i have seen people that they do streaming and Games run smoothly.

Any advice will be more than appreciate.

OBS Says its recording but its not

Try uninstall and reinstall the software then to see if it resolves the problem.

Otherwise, I recommend you repost this issue on the OBS Studio forums, since it is not specifically a Windows 10 issue.

Problem using OBS to record UK television from my screen

Regarding digital rights - I can't see that this is the problem given it works on one laptop and not the other, unless the companies are targetting me alone *Sad. And it worked fine for me until a few weeks ago. But thanks for the suggestion of using a VM, definitely something to consider. I think my next step will be to uninstall OBS and see if that changes anything.
