My windows 10 crashes at interment intervals. For example, one day it ran for 3 days without a crash,
the next time it took only a few hours

    Here is my configuration

    Windows 10 version 1803 build 17134.64b
    replaced the power supply.
    Hardware is msi x370
I have replaced the cooler on the Cpu , a radiator
Got new memory , extra 16 gb , took the old out but it still crashed, currently running with
    memory 32 gb

recently the audio card on the motherboard want bad! I replaced it with a "sound blaster audigy 5/rx"
Used the drivers from the box and did look for current drivers on the net

Here is what my event system log says
event 41 at 12:12:17 The system has rebooted without cleanly shutting down first.
This error could be caused if the system stopped responding, crashed, or lost power unexpectedly.

the next event was at 4:12:17
Connectivity state in standby: Disconnected, Reason: NIC compliance

Finally what I find confusing: at 4:12:17
The driver \Driver\WudfRd failed to load for the device ROOT\WPD\0000.
    could this be my problem??

    :)

    Hello,

The kernel power event ID 41 error occurs when the computer is shut down, or it restarts unexpectedly. Having said that, we highly suggest performing the troubleshooting steps in this article:

[SOLVED] False "Kernel Power Event ID 41 (63)" reported into the Event Viewer

    Hello,

Thank both of you for your answers,

Just to summarize: there is no crash. I do not have crash on shut down. I do not have crash on boot. I do no have crash at all. My computer shuts down (apparently) without any issue. Then, on next boot-up (which is happening flawlessly), I have the message
in my Event Viewer. That's why I titled my post "False Kernel Power Event ID 41 (63) reported" Windows 10 occasionally crashes with event id 41 , i also see in the event viewer the... ;)

I will dig through the Event Viewer to see if there is anything related to that (false) event. If I did not find anything (i.e. if this is beyond my understanding) I post the dump of it here.

    Regards,

Event ID 41 Task Category 63

If i get no BSODs, no errors, no events logged in event viewer apart from kernel power 41 (63), not even the windows did not shut down successfully screen (don't know if that is still in windows 10), and the computer just turns off and a few seconds later it turns back on, is it safe to assume that it is the power supply and not the motherboard? Because I have heard that this can be caused by the motherboard. Also when this happens, is it harmful for the rest of the hardware?
