So I updated yesterday and since then Edge comes up with either the below for https:

Can’t connect securely to this page

So I do have Hyper V on my machine (not running any machines) but I do have the additional NIC.


So far I have:

1. Repaired / reset Edge
2. Changed and tested variations of TLS and SSL options under inetcpl.cpl
3. Reset advanced options under inetcpl.cpl
4. Reset IE under inetcpl.cpl
5. Ipconfig /renew (as admin)
6. Ipconfig /flushdns (as admin)
7. Disable ipv6 on all NIC's
8. Re-enabled ipv6 on all NIC's
9. Updated any out of date drivers (Intel gfx and Dell bios)
10. Under inetcpl.cpl set display mixed content as enable (was on prompt) and reset custom settings to medium

I would point out that after each change I have done a full shut down and start up again. and undone the setting change if relevant to do so. Also another guy in the office has had the same issue, he tried the reset of winsock but still no joy.


Any other ideas would be great?

How likely is it my Dell Inspiron 7558 will run Windows 10 version 1809 come October of 2018? (June 16, 2018)

Neither System Information nor Intel HD Graphics Control Panel tells me, they both just say "Intel HD Graphics". Just as expected, Windows 10 build 17134 much improves the responsiveness of the start menu and taskbar over build 16299 and I will ask whether
or not my Inspiron 7558 can run the successor to Windows 10 version 1809 come October 2018.

 

RS5 v1809 will officially be called: Windows 10 October 2018 Update

I think the decision should be from the user still.
