Windows 10: Windows 10 October update 1809

On the day they announced October update i checked for updates from the settings and the new feature update began downloading which later got installed... But since the update I've noticed some changes that took place


1. My C drive had 21gb space but post update it was 26gb

But none of my personal files were affected as far as i know...(or should i be worried??!!)

What i noticed was there are no restore point on my pc..!! Not even the recent one... And noticed 'system restore' have become "off" for both of my drives which previously were not

I manually set up a restore point... i wonder what might have happen if my update had gone wrong!!


2. My privacy settings have been changed...

I had my feedback setting to'basic' but it had been changed to full details

So were my few other privacy settings


3.I had a PIN to login, which apparently have disappeared and i don't find it in the settings now... So back to windows password


4. When i first used edge browser back when they released with Windows 10 i was shocked.. app opening time was actually faster than chrome and so simple hence i used it as default but after 1809 update it has become slow.. soa Opening time... It even lags while using the browser... Even simple opening a new tab takes few seconds... Do had to switch back to chrome


5.I use VLC media player... Before when i played a video when there was already a video playing both video used to play now the first video disappears and i get a notification saying the second video is now playing


6. When i click on a photo to open photos app opens as just a black box it stays like that for minutes until i close it and click on the photo again the pic opens instantly ( ~3secs)

Windows 10 1809 is just a day old. My suggestion is to hold on till the first cumulative updates arrive.
