  1. Windows 10 on ASUS T100

Just installed W10 on this little convertible netbook as an upgrade. All went very well. Requires the 32-bit version as that is all this box can support.

For info, this has 2Gb RAM and 64Gb SSD. Not the fastest box in the world, but it does run very well.

W10 so far has performed better than W8.1 as I also noted when I did this on the Surface Pro 1st gen.

Downside is the small screen and using the standard desktop. Fat fingers and no really good stylus don't make that a joy to use. Screen seems a bit crisper which I also noted on the SP1.

    :)

  2. updating on asus transformer book t100

I have no free space on windows drive, I have asus transformer book (asus t100) with 32 gb of storage, the installer requires 16gb of free space, my asus T100 also have a 32gb sd card (external) and a 500gb hard drive on the dock (keyboard). Can I use it
somehow to upgrade to last version of windows 10?

    I am using windows 10 version 10240.

Wife has a T100 and uses a pencil with a soft eraser tip for a stylus. Works for her!

Do you know if its a capacitive touch screen or a resistive one? The capacitive ones are the most common on smart phones and tablets, but need those special styluses. The resistive ones are a lot less common, but you can use almost anything as a stylus. The Nintendo DS line uses a resistive touch screen and I've used keys, toothpicks, paperclips and a bunch of other random items as styluses for it. The only thing I've found that doesn't work well is the styluses made for capacitive touch screens. Since rmonroe mentioned using a pencil as a stylus, it makes me wonder if that is the case with the T100.

  6. I thought it was capacitive touch and that's the kind of stylus I got for it. It is too fat for me.

I'll have to try the pencil trick just for the heck of it.
