Dear Microsoft, I have a formal request because I don't know what to do from here on out.

Ever since I updated to your god-awful Version 2004, I don't think there's any difference between my system and a typical Pentium 1 from the late 1990s.

My laptop is too slow, lags like it has heating issues which it doesn't and always develops new problems whenever windows opts for an update.

You can consider this a rant or whatever, but since I'm your customer and trusted Windows to be my desired OS over Mac, my story of chaos literally takes the cake as the worst Windows attribute ever. Windows 10 is the worst experience I've had with an OS. My productivity is at an all time low, and I might lose my low-paying job if this continues to persist. Not that it would matter to anyone reading this, but most of my anxiety is due to Win 10 performance issues. A few years ago, I could play GTA 5 and FIFA on this device; now, even MS Office takes 15 minutes to properly get hold of its bearings.

So my request for you guys is this:

Either fix this problem for me, or provide me with a downgrade option to Windows 8.1, because that was the last interface with which my laptop worked perfectly.

I do not expect you people to listen to me about this, but i guess this is something i had to try. If someone is offended, please forgive me; I've been frustrated and offended for 4 years with Windows 10. Sorry if i seem rude, i cant help it right now.

    Thank you.

    :)

Nvidia GPU but laptop also has INTEL GPU drivers

The laptop is a Dell Vostro 5590 with Core i7 10th generation 10510U CPU and 8GB RAM. It has the NVidia MX250 GPU with 2GB DDR5 memory. Display is full HD. Prior to logging onto the Dell update site, I do not recall seeing the intel drivers installed, only the NV ones. I might be wrong though. I am pretty sure it does not use Optimus graphics.
Win 10 Pro is installed on a NVMe drive.

Windows 10 Won't use NVIDIA GPU, Uses Integrated Graphics Instead! (LAPTOP)

I have a similar (same) problem with my ASUS laptop.

    My Laptop: ASUS F550L laptop

    SPECS:

    Windows: Windows 10

    Processor: Intel Core i7-4500MQ CPU @ 1.8GHz

    RAM: 8 GB

System Type: 64-bit Operating System, x64-based processor.

    GPU: NVIDIA GeForce GT 740M

    Integrated GPU: ?

    DirectX Version: ?

I have tried the steps listed above but they did not resolve the problem.

I have attempted to download an updated driver but my driver was reported as 'up to date'.

    What do I do now?

Windows 10 on HP Envy Core i7, 8GB RAM, an Intel Memory GPU and NVIDIA 840M 2GB GPU

Decrease the amount of RAM used as Shared GPU Memory in Windows 10

    System: AsRock X99M Extreme4

OS: Windows 10 Pro 64 bit

    CPU: Intel(R) Core(TM) i7-5930K CPU @ 3.50GHz

    RAM: 64GB

    Graphics: NVidia GeForce GTX 1080

    Dedicated Video Memory: 8GB

    System Video Memory: 0

    Shared Video Memory: 31GB

Is there a way to change how much RAM windows 10 allocates as shared video memory? Specifically, I'd like to change it from 31GB to 8GB or 0GB.

Any help would be much appreciated.
