Windows 10: Windows 10: On-Screen Keyboard disappears when fixing forgotten PIN

I don't have a keyboard on me so I have to use the on-screen keyboard. Windows 10. When I'm on the sign-in screen I can pull up the keyboard fine but when I press forgot PIN and it pulls up the window to reset it, the keyboard disappears and can't be brought back up.

Thanks for your answer.

I tried steps of both links:

• #1: reset PIN code
  
  • I see no link "reset your PIN"on login page --> I can't reset it
    
• #2: change or reset windows password
  
  • My Windows account is not displayed at all on login page.
    
  • I am using a local account
    

If you have any other suggestion, I would be more than happy to try.

I suggest you to follow the steps below:

• 
  Press Windows key + X.
  
• 
  Click on Control Panel and click on Ease of access Centre.
  
• 
  Click on Start On-screen keyboard.
  
• 
  Right click on the on-screen keyboard from the taskbar and click on Pin this program to taskbar.

Are you referring to on screen Keyboard icon on the taskbar?

I would like to inform you that if you want on screen keyboard icon the taskbar you need to pin the program to taskbar.

I suggest you to follow the below steps and check if it helps:

• Below click on the search icon and type on screen keyboard
  and hit Enter.
• On the top the Window it will on screen keyboard will appear.
• Right click on the on screen keyboard and select
  pin this program to taskbar.
