    Windows 10 on secondary drive

Hey guys, I want to format my pc but before I do, I have a question that I'm hoping to have answered.

I currently have a single SSD and two HDDs, the SSD I'm using primarily for Windows. At the moment, the SSD is defaulted as the C:\ drive and this has the annoying problem where any files or programs I download automatically try to go there and take up space, requiring me to move them to one of the other drives. When formatting the computer, is it possible to assign one of my HDDs to C:\ and make the SSD a secondary drive such as E:\ or F:\ but keep Windows on it? And will doing so change the default location for anything I download or will everything still default to the C:\ drive?

    :)

    Windows 10 on secondary drive

    Windows 10 Tweaks

Pressing “Windows+Pause Break” (it’s up there next to scroll lock) opens the “System” Window.

Windows 10: In the new version of Windows, Explorer has a section called Quick Access. This includes your frequent folders and recent files. Explorer defaults to opening this page when you open a new window. If you’d rather open the usual This PC, with links to your drives and library folders, follow these steps:

    • Open a new Explorer window.
    • Click View in the ribbon.
    • Click Options.
    • Under General, next to “Open File Explorer to:” choose “This PC.”
    • Click OK
