  1. Windows 10 on the new PC own a Windows 8 with key

BACKGROUNDBought in it's time a Windows 8 with key directly from microsoftThen upgraded for free to Windows 10 proCurrent activation status : Windows is activated with digital License WHAT I Would likeI would like a completely clean installation of Windows 10 pro on my upcoming newly built Self-Build PCI'm a little unsure what basically happens when using the "Media Creation Tool" to do an installationUSB.I have noticed that the installations proces always comes up with something like "it just needs to gather information about the current system". But that is exactly what I'm not interested

    Windows 10 Tweaks

Pressing “Windows+Pause Break” (it’s up there next to scroll lock) opens the “System” Window.

Windows 10: In the new version of Windows, Explorer has a section called Quick Access. This includes your frequent folders and recent files. Explorer defaults to opening this page when you open a new window. If you’d rather open the usual This PC, with links to your drives and library folders, follow these steps:

    • Open a new Explorer window.
    • Click View in the ribbon.
    • Click Options.
    • Under General, next to “Open File Explorer to:” choose “This PC.”
    • Click OK

    windows 10 key

Google and download the "Windows 10 media creation tool"

Create a USB flash drive ISO and that's all you need...it will work without needing a key..
Just skip past entering a key during full install and delete all partitions, format, create new drive and install...

As long as you have upgraded from Windows 8 first...you need to do that prior to using your Windows 8 key for 10.
