Windows 10: Windows 10 OS Froze 4 time after Dec 15 updates had to hard reset all 4 times, Done with...

This is nonsense the endless updates, force restarts, OS freezes endlessly over and over again throughout the day, attempts to disable windows updates, intrusive resets of install, intrusive downloads forced restarts, have to do a recovery back to prior install dates. Complete **** in my opinion total waste of a person's time because the updates cause system freezes. I had ZERO problems prior to Octobers last updates.

Windows 10 always resets my Time

Is your time zone set correctly in the OS? The OS has the ability to change the CMOS clock, so if you didn't setup your Windows Time correctly, then it is defaulted to Pacific Standard Time. It could also be a CMOS battery issue...but usually your time AND date will reset...so you'll see 12:00, January 1, 1979 or similar if the clock is resetting from a bad CMOS. If you shut your PC down, unplug it from the wall for say like 10 minutes, then plug back in and boot into BIOS, is your time/date wrong?

 

Far Cry 4 - computer froze. Only hard reset helps.

ello. Yesterday when playing Far Cry 4 my computer suddenly freezes with "BZZZZZ" sound.
Only hard reset helps. So after reset i again run Far Cry 4 and left for 12 hours in background. And after 12 hours without freez, all fine. But why i was had one single freez yesterday ( only hard reset helps ) ?
There is no any minidumps file to analyze. Minidump folder is empty.
I run even Prime95 for 10 hours, without errors.

My pc is:
4790 stock
8gb ram
Sabertooth Z79 Mark2
Asus Strix 980 ( Oc factory )
Corsair 750 RM
HDD 500GB SATAIII


I dont OC my pc, all is stock.
I am using 334.75 WHQL.

IS this game\software problem or hardware?
Like i say all is fine now, but i am worried about that one single freez ( only hard reset helps ) from yesterday.
Thank you for any suggestion.
Should i be worried?

 

Kingston KCP424SS8/4 timings?

This would be a memory upgrade for my laptop.

My laptop currently runs on 1x2GB and 1x4GB. (dual channel)

The 4GB module installed is:
Samsung DDR4-2400 M471A5244BB0-CRC
Timings are 15-15-15-35 CR 1T

I'd like to know the timings of this Kingston KCP424SS8/4 module.
