Windows 10: Windows 10 OS Version 1909 vs Version 2004

Hi, this is Gavin. Currently using Microsoft Windows 10 OS Version 1909. I would like to what is the major difference in Windows 10 OS Version 1909 & Version 2004.

Should i upgrade to Windows 10 OS Version 2004. What's your Views & Opinion on that.

Please help.

Hi, this is Gavin. Currently using Laptop HP 14-am 090TU, along with Windows 10 OS Version 1909 (OS Build 18363.959).



Just came to know that Microsoft has launched New Version "2004" for Windows 10 OS. But currently when i check for updates through Windows Updates it shows me message i.e "You're up to date. Last checked: Today, 06:12 PM {As Shared Screen Shot below}".
Means i am not able to get or the is not available for My Laptop i.e Latest Windows 10 OS Version "2004".

Do i need to wait a longer for My Laptop to get Windows 10 OS Version "2004" update or can i download it through Microsoft Support Website.

Please help me in getting the New Windows 10 OS Version "2004" update.

This is Gavin. Currently uising Microsoft Windows 10 OS with Version 1909 (OS Build 18363.720) as shown in below Photo.





Want to upgrade to latest Windows 10 Version 2004. What is different bewwen current Version i am using i.e Windows 10 Version 1909 vs Windows 10 Version 2004. What are the new features in Windows 10 Version 2004. Also read that Windows has launched new design
& Menu look. Any update on that.

Also how can i update to latest July, 2020 Windows 10 Update, skipping the other updates that came Windows 10 OS Version 1909 till July, 2020.

Hi Mohammad

I do not see a conflict with your hardware, and seeing as you have version 1909 installed, your system should take version 2004, however, Microsoft do not release a list of compatible hardware, only known conflicts.

If you choose to install version 2004, that will either succeed or it will not and your PC will roll back to 1909 . . .
