  1. Windows 10 OS

I use "Windows 10 for Dummies" and get comprehensible answers. When I use those answers in practice, my silly laptop, upon signing in again, seems to ignore the changes I made.

For starters, can someone tell me how to extend the time of using my computer without having to constantly sign in? I thought I changed it to 25 minutes!

Secondly, I am the only one using my device...no others ever...it sits on my desk at home in my study. So, how can I avoid signing in at all unless I change it? Does "Never" ring a bell?

Third, colors seem to be a real boondoggle and were so messed up, after one trillion tries to change it, that I got remote support from a very tireless, knowledgeable and long suffering lady somewhere in another country accent. Now, I notice all colors are acceptable and pleasant.

So, basically, Windows 10 does whatever it wants and with every new update goes a bit haywire? Should i stay away from updates?

    Appreciatively yours,

    Windows 10 Tweaks

Pressing “Windows+Pause Break” (it’s up there next to scroll lock) opens the “System” Window.

Windows 10: In the new version of Windows, Explorer has a section called Quick Access. This includes your frequent folders and recent files. Explorer defaults to opening this page when you open a new window. If you’d rather open the usual This PC, with links to your drives and library folders, follow these steps:

    • Open a new Explorer window.
    • Click View in the ribbon.
    • Click Options.
    • Under General, next to “Open File Explorer to:” choose “This PC.”
    • Click OK
