    Windows 10 Paranoia

I've done dumb stuff on my pc, and what worries me the most was that it wasn't hardware wise. Ive reinstalled driver software and chipsets multiple times and something corrupted with the software or chipset and had to restore my pc to a previous point to use it, factory reset 2 times, installed alot of optional updates that I should've and shouldn't I believe and all this in the span in about 5 ish months. Sometimes I see stuff that I haven't noticed before, and get very paranoid that something is wrong. What should I do to make sure my pc is perfectly fine and clear this paranoia. All of

Pressing “Windows+Pause Break” (it’s up there next to scroll lock) opens the “System” Window.

Windows 10: In the new version of Windows, Explorer has a section called Quick Access. This includes your frequent folders and recent files. Explorer defaults to opening this page when you open a new window. If you’d rather open the usual This PC, with links to your drives and library folders, follow these steps:

    • Open a new Explorer window.
    • Click View in the ribbon.
    • Click Options.
    • Under General, next to “Open File Explorer to:” choose “This PC.”
    • Click OK

Might be paranoia, but just wanted to make sure: I remember downloading a fishy "Windows Update" file some time in the middle of the night. After a popup for a AdBlock Plus donation, or subscrition I don't remember and one for Nord VPN, plus weird computer performance issues on my applications I ran McAfee's Full Scan. I...
