Windows 10: Windows 10 password option missing in sing in options

I am missing the option for adding password to my PC after re installing windows. I didn't have this problem on my old windows version but now i only have this options.

I recently installed Windows on a new ssd on my pc. But I dont seem to be able to select to sing-in with my password from my Microsoft account. The password option is just not there in the menu.

I singed in with my microsoft account on where I have a Windows 10 Pro license.

My PC currently runs windows 10 pro, Version: 2004, OS build: 19041.450.

Does anybody maybe know a solution to this problem, because I cant find any cases like these on the internet?

 

Windows 10 recovery options ?.

When the password is wrong and the pin number is wrong is there a way recover the data or even the OS ?.

The extra added issue to this is that the systems running UEFI so no inputs working on boot, so how do you get in to the recovery options.


Could it be as simple as plugging in a USB drive with windows 10 on it and hoping it boots up off it ?. It's the only option not tried as yet as the owner of the system as just got out of hospital wanted to try passwords and pins which seemed to fail every time even though he\she is pretty sure are right.

I am thinking that's the way to go is there any other ways to gain access other than taking the drive out of the system. Data on the system is important too.

On that page, if you turn off the option to 'Require Windows Hello Sign-in for Microsoft Accounts'

Then restart your PC if necessary, does the option for a password login reappear?
