    Windows 10 PC DNS server isn't responding


    I tried restarting my router and my PC, didn't work. I tried using ipconfig prompt commands, didn't work. I tried a network reset, didn't work. I can ping my router, but nothing external. also, all my IPs and stuff are automatic.

    Hi,

    Thank you for help.

    1. Its wireless connection.

    2. Toshiba. Satellite C55

    3. no i didn't Make changes to the pc, but the router. After technician came to fix and change my home router, the "DNS server not responding" problem comes. My other gadget doesnt having the same Problem with my pc.

    I've tried trouble shooting as you suggest before, but the problem not solved and it says "DNS server not responding".

    Windows 10 DNS Server not responding

    I recently upgraded to Windows 10 on my MSI Laptop. After install, I keep getting a
    "DNS Server not responding". When I switch back to Windows 8, the computer and Internet Connectivity works fine. I tried re-installing Windows 10 again today with the same problem, "DNS server not responding". I am now back on Windows 8.1.

    Any Suggestions?

    DNS Servers

    I run a DNS server locally, so when a domain is already cached, I get it back almost instantly, otherwise it responds as fast as the first server in my list (75.75.75.75 in my case.)
