    Windows 10 PC going to sleep mode on its own


    I built a PC last summer and all was well for the first 6 months or so. Now it has decided to start going into sleep mode after about 20 minutes of inactivity. I have tried changing all of the settings for sleep mode, screen saver, etc. without any luck. I checked in my bios for any kind of settings but again, no luck.

    I use the PC to run a Plex server for our home but Plex cant wake it from sleep mode so it has effectively shut down my ability to use Plex unless I go over and wake the PC first. Needless to say streaming from Plex remotely is now completely out of the question...

    Here are my specs...

    MSI b450 gaming plus Max, Ryzen 5 3600, 16gb ddr4 3200mhz, GeForce RTX 2060, 500w evga power supply, fresh Windows 10 install about 7-8 months ago.

    Windows 10 PC will not go into sleep mode

    My new Windows 10 pc set to go into sleep mode after 2 hours and it doesn't happen - I can put into sleep mode manually but often it comes out of sleep by itself. I have tried all of the suggestions and have had no luck.

    PC does not go to Sleep Mode in Windows 10

    After posting my question did some search and found the solution in the following link:

    http://www.technipages.com/windows-10-pc-wont-go-to-sleep-mode.     The link has a tutorial on how to set the Sleep Mode function in Power Options and it works on my PC. I selected 'Allow the Computer to Sleep' in the multimedia settings of the Power Options
    and rebooted the computer. The PC goes to sleep after the time selected in the Power Options. This may work on other PCs as well.
