    Windows 10 PC unexpectedly shuts down on brand new computer


    When I loaded Windows 10 on my desktop, it started shutting down for no apparent reason. It was an older computer and I saw through reading previous posts many older computers are not set up for Windows 10. So, I purchased a brand new HP laptop two weeks ago and it has shut down unexpectedly three times. Before I blame the manufacturer, return product and invest in an iMac, I will go through the process of asking is there a fix for this?

    OK, first complete your system specs, as it will help us diagnose your problem. Second, can you be a bit more descriptive about the "shut off"? Does it go through the windows shut down procedure, or does the power just shut off completely?
