Windows 10: Windows 10 PC will not post when certain drive is connected

I had a problem where everything on the new SSD that I keep all my games on stopped working correctly. Trying to access folders deep enough or trying to open any game/file came back with "files not accessible a device which does not exist was specified" or something very close to that. I tried a reboot but then my PC wouldn't post. I finally disconnected the problematic drive and was able to get into bios again. From there I made sure that my C drive is where the pc tries to boot from first. Then, once I got back into the pc I ran sfc /scannow which came back saying it found corrupt files

Windows 10: In the new version of Windows, Explorer has a section called Quick Access. This includes your frequent folders and recent files. Explorer defaults to opening this page when you open a new window. If you’d rather open the usual This PC, with links to your drives and library folders, follow these steps:

• Open a new Explorer window.
• Click View in the ribbon.
• Click Options.
• Under General, next to “Open File Explorer to:” choose “This PC.”
• Click OK

PC wont boot up (No POST, No Video)

I recently installed a new Asus M5A99X Evo r2.0. The motherboard green LED lights up and the case and cpu fans spin. But there is no video when its hooked up to my monitor.

Steps that i have tried:
"No POST", "system won't boot", and "no video output" troubleshooting checklist

Made sure all connections are properly connected.

Flashing the CMOS

Tested the PSU

Followed all steps in the user manual
