Windows 10: Windows 10 Photo App Scrolling Problem

Since I've upgraded my computer from over a year ago, I've been noticing some problems with the default Photo Viewer Windows 10 has. Say I have five pictures in a folder. I click on picture #1, and try to scroll, but it would skip 2 and 3, immediately going to 4, then 5, no matter what date I've saved the pictures in. This mostly only happens on my desktop, I seem to have fixed it in other non-desktop folders, but I only organized it by date in other folders. I did that on desktop and it didn't work.On desktop as well, say it IS working, and I can scroll from 1-5 normally. I move picture #2 of

Hi, should work...does for me. Have you tried uninstalling, reinstalling Photos?

Presumably scrolling works elsewhere.

A couple of other people have reported this issue here- unresolved.

Problems with Photos App Windows 10

Terminate, Repair, and Reset app is one of the effective methods to solve the
Photos App issue and the steps to follow are as below:

1. Press down the Windows button along with the letter I to open the Settings window.
2. After that, from the Settings window click on Apps.
3. Next, scroll down the right-hand side window until you find the Microsoft Photos option.
   
4. Further, click on Advanced options. that is under Microsoft Photos.
5. From this window, continue with the following options (Terminate> Repair> Reset) one-by-one until the issue seems to be resolved.

If still, the problem exists, then try further methods:

• Re-install App
• Re-register Photos App
• Update Windows OS
