Windows 10: Windows 10 Photo App Scrolling Problem

I am having an issue with the Windows 10 Photo App, whatever it's normally called that comes pre-installed on Windows 10.The app itself does not sort pictures in the correct order on my desktop or even in folders - when I try to scroll through it, it jumps around to other pictures randomly that are not in the correct order on my desktop itself, skipping some files entirely of differing types, too. What I mean by that is sometimes it'll go from JPEG to JPEG, then a PNG, skip a JPEG, and go to another PNG, then back to a JPEG, but then skip another PNG.I have tried resetting the app, repairing i

Hi, should work...does for me. Have you tried uninstalling, reinstalling Photos?

Presumably scrolling works elsewhere.

A couple of other people have reported this issue here- unresolved.

Problems with Photos App Windows 10

Terminate, Repair, and Reset app is one of the effective methods to solve the
Photos App issue and the steps to follow are as below:

1. Press down the Windows button along with the letter I to open the Settings window.
2. After that, from the Settings window click on Apps.
3. Next, scroll down the right-hand side window until you find the Microsoft Photos option.
   
4. Further, click on Advanced options. that is under Microsoft Photos.
5. From this window, continue with the following options (Terminate> Repair> Reset) one-by-one until the issue seems to be resolved.
