Windows 10: windows 10 Photo Legacy application

I cannot open the windows 10 Photo Legacy application, After going to help.Microsoft.com following those instructions the required registry path was not there. So what did you do to remove that path to disable a fine working program. I guess it was done via an update and not to known to us common users. Please reinstate the Photo Legacy program

Regarding to your information I assume that you want to use the Photos Legacy but it will still use the new version.

Are you referring to opening Photo (Legacy) or the new version of Photos? If possible, you can try uninstalling Photos and

then see if you are able to open Photo (Legacy). Our tests have shown that it should work fine. If you don't use the new version of

Photos, you can try this approach.

You can go to Settings -> Apps -> Installed apps, search for Photos, and you should see both Photos and Photos (Legacy).

Delete Photos and see if it resolves the issue.

If you want to use it please create a new test account, and switch to the newly created account to see if the Photos app is working as normal.

This troubleshooting step can help isolate the problem due to an invalid profile configuration.

Create a local user or administrator account in Windows - Microsoft Support

I'm Christine, an Independent Advisor and a Windows user like you. I can see here that you would like to get the Photo Legacy. No worries, I'll do my best to help you.

To get that app, please click start menu and type Photos then hit enter

Select Settings and scroll down, you'll see the Photo Legacy, please click on it. And that should give you the Photo Legacy.
