Dear all,I know easy setting Windows 10 Photos App about problem "Can't edit we are having trouble...."Follow step below, you can fix problem and happy to work with Photos Apps1. Double click on any photo preferably JPG type2. Click the 3 dots . . . on the top right corner of the screen to open the menu3. Select settings at the bottom4. The setting page will appear. You choose to "Add a folder" .5. In this step, you can either select a specific folder or select the entire local disk drive c: or other to add.6. Click "Add this folder to Pictures"7. PHOTOS APP CAN'T EDIT - We're Having Trouble Opening this File for Editing

You need to create a folder for your photos (if you don't already have one) and make that folder part of the Photos app's "Sources." Within Photos, go to
Settings, then Sources and click Add a Folder (the + sign). Then navigate to your desired folder and select it. This should let any photos placed in that folder work with the app.

 

Windows 10 Photos App crashing when in the edit menu

​Hello everyone!
Just recently (within the week) my Photos Application has started crashing



This happens most often when I'm in the editing menu

Sometimes it crashes on startup - Sometimes when I enter the Editing Menu - Sometimes when I attempt to edit

Things I've attempted to do to fix

• Uninstall and reinstall the app
• Contact Microsoft Support (cringe)
• sfc /scannow
• Restore Libraries to default
• Created another local account
• Clear the app cache
• Check disk health (extremely healthy)
• Add a Microsoft Account / Connect a Microsoft account
• Put photos in a different folder / drive
• The system Troubleshooter.

NOTHING HAS WORKED

Possible Causes .

• My photos are located on another disk G) - I have an SSD (128GB) for boot - A 1TB regular drive for Programs and another 1 TB drive for documents/photos/etc.

I've followed every guide possible and still nothing has worked. I need some serious help *Mad
So strange how it just started happening, Please help, any suggestions are appreciated as this is a major headache for me!

 

Windows 10 Photo App will not update photos after editing.

As you have issues with performance of Photos app, I suggest you to run the
Windows Store Apps troubleshooter.

Windows Store Apps Troubleshooter, troubleshoots problems that may prevent Windows Store Apps from working correctly.

Follow the below steps:

• 
  Type troubleshooting in the search bar on the Taskbar.
  
• 
  Select Troubleshooting.
  
• 
  Select View all on the top left corner.
  
• 
  Click on Windows Store Apps.
  
• 
  Select “Advance” and click on “Run as Administrator”.
  
• 
  Click “Next” and follow the on-screen instructions to complete the troubleshooting process.
