Windows 10: Windows 10 Photos App crashing when in the edit menu

​Hello everyone!
Just recently (within the week) my Photos Application has started crashing



This happens most often when I'm in the editing menu

Sometimes it crashes on startup - Sometimes when I enter the Editing Menu - Sometimes when I attempt to edit

Things I've attempted to do to fix

• Uninstall and reinstall the app
• Contact Microsoft Support (cringe)
• sfc /scannow
• Restore Libraries to default
• Created another local account
• Clear the app cache
• Check disk health (extremely healthy)
• Add a Microsoft Account / Connect a Microsoft account
• Put photos in a different folder / drive
• The system Troubleshooter.

NOTHING HAS WORKED

Possible Causes .

• My photos are located on another disk G) - I have an SSD (128GB) for boot - A 1TB regular drive for Programs and another 1 TB drive for documents/photos/etc.

I've followed every guide possible and still nothing has worked. I need some serious help *Mad
So strange how it just started happening, Please help, any suggestions are appreciated as this is a major headache for me!

can't edit photos in my windows phone 10

hello guys,

I have a Lumia 930 running Windows 10 os version 10.0.14393.2126 , that I just updated to but now when I try to edit my photos on any editing app, it just opens then close back to photos app, and if I went to the editing app and opened the photos from inside
it I can edit it but the app fails to save the photo and then crash.

I tried turning the phone off and on, uninstalling and reinstalling the editing apps, soft reset.

Photo app edit error - App crashes

Photo app crashes when I try to edit a photo..I am able to edit one picture but when I go to second picture and click on edit app closes... can someone help me with this problem?

 

Did you try the Windows Store Apps Troubleshooter? Also, go to Settings / Apps & features and reset the Photos App.

 

Yes, both of those options were listed under the methods I have tried. It was the latest driver from Nvidia. I rolled back the driver and it started to work again.

 

Rolling back the Nvidia driver worked for me. Thanks! (It was crashing for me while scrolling through pictures.)
