Windows 10: Windows 10 Photos App - Disable Autoplay/Slideshow

When I open an image in Photo, after a few seconds, it'll start cycling through all the images. I can't figure out how to make it stop and just stay on the picture I open. I have to use reference images all the time and this is so frustrating. I've tried checking all the settings, I can't find any info online. 1. Double click an image on my desktop.2. It opens in Photos.3. Wait 5 seconds4. Images start cycling through.

We appreciate your response. We can simply configure your PC to disable the photo slideshow by following these steps:

• On Search, type Lock screen settings then hit the Enter key.
• On Background choose Picture instead of
  Slideshow.
• Then Exit.

  Where does the photos folder located?
  
• 
  Did you try to change the folder location and check?
  

I suggest you to follow the below steps:

Step 1: If the photos folder is located on the desktop, try to create another folder and copy all the content to the newly created folder and add this folder for slideshow and check.



Step 2: Try to create new folder if different location and copy all the content to the newly created folder in different location and add this folder for slideshow and check.
