  1. Windows 10 Photos app totally busted

So a few weeks ago, I went to review some photos I took, and couldn't open them. Every time I tried to open the photos with the default Photos app, I got an error message that read "File System Error (-2147219196)". I wasn't quite sure what could have caused it, figured maybe a faulty update. Made sure my system was completely up to date.

Then I started with all of the other usual methods of repair. I did the app settings reset and repair functions, then I tried reinstalling it, and I also tried using several internet-suggested Powershell commands to totally remove it and reinstall it that way.

Nothing seemed to work. I have basically given up on it, since I hate the default Photos app anyways, and I just installed a better, third party software I like more. But it doesn't sit right with me, knowing there is a basic feature of Windows that is broken.

Anybody else had this problem? What other fixes can I try beyond the usual repair, reinstall, clean reinstall loop?
