  1. Windows 10 Photos app update (broken features?)

I edit video for my church. I have developed a workflow that I carry out every month or so. It goes:

    1. Right-click an .mp4, choose Open with... >Movies & TV.
    2. In the window that opens, click the pencil in the bottom-right toolbar. Choose Edit in Photos > Trim.
    3. In the window that opens, I'm able to drag the round scrubber to any point in the video, and it would stay in place whenever I click and drag on the square-ish scrubber. This enables one to fine-tune the start and stop edit points for the clip.

The behavior now is that when you click and drag the square-ish scrubber, the round one snaps to the square one. So what is the point of the round one anymore?

Additionally, clicking and holding the round scrubber used to refine the video playback so that it was x0.1 speed or so - basically frame-by-frame editing. Now click-and-hold does nothing.

I have purchased VideoPad, but have been using Windows Photos for the built-in simplicity, and because VideoPad has codec issues half the time. Windows 10 USED to "just work".

How do others clip video on Windows 10? I have a hard time believing anyone could use the app to clip video in its current state, with an error of +/- 1 or 2 seconds.

Photos App "enhance" feature broken with update

Recently updated to version 10.0.18362 Build 18362. The update broke the "enhance" feature (Filters -> enhance your photo) in the Windows Photo app. I use this often with art work, because it does a good job making photos of art look more true to life. Anyhow,
this feature has been broken by an update before...eventually, it was fixed.

Just bringing this up here because hopefully it's fixed sooner rather than later. Or, maybe someone has a fix or other advice. Thanks.

Next-day Edit: Sorry, I should have been more specific. I updated to Windows 10 version 10.0.18362 Build 18362. The Photo app's version is 2019.19061.18920.0.
