Windows 10: Windows 10 Pictures scrolling uncontrollably

when I open an image in windows 10 and if there is more than one image in the file location it will go to the first one uncontrollably.


I have already restarted my computer but the problem is still there. It isn't the mouse. It's either a software issue or a problem with the arrow keys but the arrow keys is unlikely the problem.


It just started after i put in a USB drive too look for an old photo and no one else uses it besides me. I don't think its the problem but i'm just putting out all of the information i have.

Ever since Windows 10 was installed, uncontrolled scrolling has occurred in the documents and picture areas. i.e. when you scroll down in documents looking for a particular document, after two seconds the cursor bounces back up to the beginning. This
also happens in "pictures". Very difficult to open a document you cannot "nail down". Has anyone had this problem - and how did you solve it?

Windows 10: In the new version of Windows, Explorer has a section called Quick Access. This includes your frequent folders and recent files. Explorer defaults to opening this page when you open a new window. If you’d rather open the usual This PC, with links to your drives and library folders, follow these steps:

• Open a new Explorer window.
• Click View in the ribbon.
• Click Options.
• Under General, next to “Open File Explorer to:” choose “This PC.”
• Click OK
