    Windows 10 PIN no longer available, cannot log in to device


    I recently followed directions on an MS forum on how to reduce CPU and memory usage upon logging in to my laptop. However, after I restarted my computer I was no longer able to log in using my PIN. It says "Something happened and your PIN isn't available. Click to set up your PIN again." But when I click to set up a new PIN it then tells me I need an app to complete the task and then boots me back to the same screen. I And when I try to reset my password it just boots me back to the login screen with no message.How do I log back in to my computer without resetting the whole thing and losing al

    Pin no longer available

    Hi I tried to log into my laptop today and it said PIN no longer available. I do not have a password for my laptop so i have no way of logging in. When i try to reset/restore windows it asks for password. Is there a way i can log into my computer??

    Set up my new acer laptop running windows 10 with a pin. Shut down for the night and now it won't let me sign in Says "your pin is no longer available due to a change to the security settings on this device. But I can't actually get into the computer
    to change any settings. Please help! .
