Windows 10: Windows 10 Plugged in, not charging after Windows Update for Samsung non removable battery...

I have Windows 10 Home. This is the basic information:






After Windows update on 8/4, I am not able to charge my laptop. These are the updates that were completed on 8/4.







I uninstalled the battery adapters from Device Manager, turned off the power, disconnected the charging cable, waited for more than 20 minutes until I restarted the computer. However, it did not resolve the issue. The battery is now 0%. Please let me know how to fix the issue.

Plugged In, Not Charging

Sometimes depending on your Windows 10 Build, your battery will not charge to 100%, this extends the life of your battery . . . plug out the laptop, drain the battery for 10 - 15 minutes, plug it back in and see if it starts to charge the battery

If however, your battery is not charging at all in Windows 10, follow these steps to rectify this issue:

• Disconnect Power Supply
• Remove battery
• Connect Power Supply
• Turn on the laptop
• Control Panel - Device Manager
• Under the Batteries category, right-click all instances of Microsoft ACPI Compliant Control Method Battery , and Uninstall
• Shutdown
• Disconnect Power Supply
• Insert battery
• Connect Power Supply
• Turn on the laptop

Windows 10 - Battery "Plugged in, not charging"

From the moment I updated to Windows 10 my laptop battery has 0% charge and will not work without being plugged in and says "0% available - plugged in, not charging" Can anyone suggest a fix that doesn't involve turning on without being plugged in as that
doesn't work?

 

Battery Plugged-in not Charging after Windows 10 recent update.

Please understand that the Windows 10 Creators Update has broken battery charging on my Asus and my wife's Samsung. They were working fine before.

I cannot flash my BIOS because it won't run unless the battery is charged to 20%, and mine isn't anymore.

I have done all the steps suggested in this thread many times. I cannot remove my battery without being able to take the cover off my Asus.

I have tried the driver uninstall and update process many times. I am pretty sure that the driver is NOT updated as it says it is from 2006, but I can't find a newer one for either of my computers in the update catalog.

I hope usoft issues a fix for this SOON and lets me know when they do.
