Windows 10 pops message during login stating the laptop belongs to someone else.

Last year, i got a laptop from my company as a gift. I used it for a year, but now all of a sudden I get a message on my screen stating that this laptop belongs to a school in an other country. I assume its some sort of virus so I reinstalled the Windows 10. But as soon as it is connected to the internet, this message pops up again. There is also a number pad on the bottom right corner. I tried every re-installation method I know of but I still end up getting this message. When I asked my company they said they purchased this laptop through an online store. I'm puzzled as to if this is a virus of some sort or if this is a genuine message.

    :)

Is there a way to see a history of the messages that pop up in the bottom right of Windows 10?

I'm trying to overclock at the moment and twice now while in the middle of a Prime 95 test, a message popped up in the bottom right but was only there for half a second or so. It was gone so fast that I couldn't even read any of the message, but I saw it was red with the X meaning bad mojo.

I thought to check event viewer but I don't see anything there. What could the message be? For what it's worth the overclock seems stable. This is a fresh installation of Windows 10 64-bit.

    Windows 10 Tweaks

Pressing “Windows+Pause Break” (it’s up there next to scroll lock) opens the “System” Window.

Windows 10: In the new version of Windows, Explorer has a section called Quick Access. This includes your frequent folders and recent files. Explorer defaults to opening this page when you open a new window. If you’d rather open the usual This PC, with links to your drives and library folders, follow these steps:

    • Open a new Explorer window.
    • Click View in the ribbon.
    • Click Options.
    • Under General, next to “Open File Explorer to:” choose “This PC.”
    • Click OK

    Can't login to new computer w/Windows 10

    Hi,

    Thank you for your reply.

    • Are you able to login to Microsoft Account on Web?

    • Have you installed any language pack?
I suggest you to follow the steps below and check if it helps.

Step 1: I suggest you to select the appropriate language in login screen at the bottom right corner and check if it helps.

Steps 2: Use On-screen keyboard in the login screen to login and check if it helps.

Hope this helps. If the issue remains unresolved, please get back to us and we would be happy to help.

Can someone tell me if this message is from Windows 10 or something else?: This appears maybe 50% of the time as I am shutting down my computer. I have never seen this from Microsoft before and it only happens on one of my computers. The usual message from Windows for updates is different so I am concerned this might be something else.
