Windows 10: Windows 10 power state failure BSOD preventing restart

Hi there


I have an issue whereby each time I shut down or the system restarts, the system hangs until eventually displaying the BSOD Power_State_Failure. I have been searching various solutions and have updated as many drivers as I could (especially what appear to be the usual suspects: video card, LAN etc) but still no solution.


Would anybody be able to point me toward the dodgy driver? I have minidumps available.

BSOD Driver Power State Failure

I encounter a BSOD Driver Power State Failure frequently since installed windows 10 1511 (does not have this problem in windows 10 10240)

When i try to restart computer in safe mode, and open up device manager, i found a yellow "!" mark beside the generic PnP monitor from the driver list...

i try to uninstall that and restart computer back to normal mode, then update the driver, but it say the best driver for the Generic PnP monitor is already installed.

well, what i do above does not fix the problem and the same BSOD happened over and over again..., especially after a little gaming.

Windows 10 BSOD driver power state failure

Hi,

I did a clean boot with all the non-Microsoft services disabled and the DRIVER POWER STATE FAILURE BSOD still happens.

I ran them through osronline which suggested sbp2port.sys.

Any more suggestions?
