Windows 10: Windows 10 preview update REALLY stuck

So I'm having a very persistent issue with my Insider Preview. An Insider Preview 19592.1001 is trying to install but remains on Downloading 0%, even after hours of waiting. Several attempts to reset Windows Update did not solve the issue. I ran Reset-WindowsUpdate.ps1 which Microsoft made available and stops the services, resets the update folders, removes items, renames folders, resets settings of bits and wuauserv, registers dll's, removes and adds registry keys and forces rediscovery.


Still after reboot it never even searches for updates but shows the 0% downloading immediately, as if it does not really reset Windows Update. I did all steps manually too, with antivirus and firewall disabled. The Update Troubleshooter does not fix anything. The commands with dism.exe do not solve it. SFC /SCANNOW says there is nothing to be fixed. There is enough space on the disk +400GB free, it is a quad core i7-8559U with 32GB RAM. There was no malware found when scanning with 3rd party tools.


I would really hate to have to reïnstall this Insiders machine just because it's unable to reset some update and I therefore hope someone can help me or at least point me in the right direction ...

Well just noticed a pretty large one pop up coming in at 914MB, seems it makes some pretty serous updates.
