Problem: Windows 10 - Printing wizard - Turning off "fit to frame" when printing a picture


while printing a picture file explorer the prining wizard appears every time with "fit to frame" enabled
and I have to deselect this feature every time I print out pictures again, again, again, ...

google search for this problems ends in unsolved problem / no solution / and topic closed!

Microsoft seems to be unable to fix this problem!

Has anybody a workaround/solution?

Default "fit picture to frame"

How do I (and obviously a lot of other people) disable the default 'fit picture to frame" option when printing pictures in Windows 10?

Hi there,

When I print pictures from file explorer, the Print pictures window opens and asks how do I want to print the picture. My question is, is there any way to have the "Fit picture to Frame" option turned off by default. Each time I print, which on payroll
day is about 70 times, I have to uncheck the "fit picture to frame" check box to ensure the timesheets that are sent to me as pictures can print.

Or is there a better way of printing pictures that are misshaped.

Print fit to frame in Photos

Has Photos lost an option found in Picture Viewer or Paint -- to print to the entire sheet of paper, what Picture Viewer's checkbox calls "fit to frame"? That'd be a real shame!

I also wish that it called up, like any other program, the print dialog box that comes with my printer's software. It allows all sorts of advanced options, such as free scaling. But seems like you just have the limited options within Photos, and then the
print button sends it right to the printer. Correct?
