I had to reinstall windows due to my previous windows 10 Pro 1903 buging out really badly.

I've recently discovered that Documents, Pictures are not on my HDD but are using Onedrive.

This is the new default location of documents C:\Users\XXXX\OneDrive\Documents and then click restore defults which changes the location to C:\Users\XXXX\Documents then I get do you want to move the contents to the new location and if i click yes or no I get the error Folder cant be relocated due to a folder using the same name

Is there anything I can do to change this?

[XXXX are a placeholder for my username]

    Windows 10 Tweaks

Pressing “Windows+Pause Break” (it’s up there next to scroll lock) opens the “System” Window.

Windows 10: In the new version of Windows, Explorer has a section called Quick Access. This includes your frequent folders and recent files. Explorer defaults to opening this page when you open a new window. If you’d rather open the usual This PC, with links to your drives and library folders, follow these steps:

    • Open a new Explorer window.
    • Click View in the ribbon.
    • Click Options.
    • Under General, next to “Open File Explorer to:” choose “This PC.”
    • Click OK

    Hi Richard,

To sort your documents in your File Explorer by date, we suggest following the steps below:

    • Type File Explorer in Cortana search box to open File Explorer.
    • Go to the folder that you want to sort.
    • Click on View that is located on the top part of the window.
    • Click on Sort by.
    • Choose Date.

Your files should be sorted by date with this option.

Let us know if this works for you.

Windows 10 Pro 2004 File Explorer Document Location

Some files listed in Windows Explorer are blue font

I seem to have run out of room on a Windows XP Pro system. I tried to defrag but don't have but 7% room available. I looked in Windows Explorer to try to find some huge files that might be corrupt and I see a few that are listed in blue. What does that mean? I have not compressed anything on purpose. Thanks
