    Windows 10 Pro 32-bit PatchPAE


    I had forgotten that I'd run PatchPAE on this old Windows 7 32-bit box. It has 5Gb of DDR2 and now only 3Gb is accessible. Is it likely that a PatchPAE could be made to work with Windows 10 or should I attempt to clean install to 64-bit?
    Unfortunately this could be hard as the ATI X1300 video card just says "Cannot Display This Video Mode" so I am using it on a remote desktop connection.

    Tried twice to update from Windows 8.1 Pro 64 Bit to Windows 10 Pro 64 bit, only I get Windows 10 Pro 32 Bit

    Original Title: 64 Bit Upgrade and NOT 32 Bit!

    I tried twice to update from Windows 8.1 Pro 64 Bit to Windows 10 Pro 64 bit, only I get Windows 10 Pro 32 Bit! Can't the upgrade process know that my version of Windows 8.1 Pro is 64 Bit and upgrade it to that? I can't use 32 Bit Windows 10 Pro!
