Windows 10 Pro 64Bit Non Responsive Mouse & Keyboard at Login Screen

Keep in mind I did search the internet before I started this question/topic. I am hoping this is where I get help as I am not use to posting on the Microsoft site.

So this happens off & on a lot & its very annoying. I lost everything last time because I got mad & reinstalled Windows which did fix the problem, but I just rebooted only to find its doing it again now. I noticed a post about this that was a few years old but did not see an option to reply to it. Also I noticed that someone suggested uninstalling & reinstalling driver for the keyboard & mouse which I found to be stupid because the MOUSE & KEYBOARD are none responsive, HELLO?!?!? I have tried other keyboard & mouses also which made no difference. If I was not a gamer I would install Linux & never look back!

So I need an actual fix for this not suggestions that will clearly not help because Windows is not tracking my keyboard & mouse so telling me to go into repair, or reinstall drivers is pointless without the use of these two devices.

    System Build,

    MB: SuperMicro X8DAi-0
CPU: Dual Intel Xeon E5649 2.53Ghz
    Mem: Samsung 96GB DDR3 1066 Reg Ecc
    Vid: Radeon RX 560 4GB
HDD1: Crucial 2TB SSD SATA III
    HDD2: Seagate Barracuda 8TB 5400 RPM
    DVD1: Lite-On 24x DVD-RW DL Writer
    DVD2: Lite-On 24x DVD-RW DL Writer
AIO: Sabrent 74-1 Flash Media Reader/Writer
    PSU: Rosewill Glacier 1000M 1000W
    OS: Windows 10 Pro 64Bit

I really do not want to have to format every time this happens. Its extremely annoying! And some of my software is limited on how many times you can install it before it does not allow you to install it anymore.

Also by chance does anyone know what the master BIOS/Setup password is for an OEM Philips version of an SuperMicro X8DAi-O motherboard is? I bought one brand new OEM off eBay & no password was given with it but it requires one. ADMIN does not work. The only way I can get into my BIOS is to remove my cmos batter & power, then after putting them back in wait for an error message to popup with F1 option to fix it. Then I get to repeat it over & over again if I want back into the BIOS.

    :)

Windows 10 Login Screen - Not recognizes any keyboard and mouse

Windows 10 Login Screen not recognizes to ANY keyboard and mouse (both wired and wireless) but when power up to start up and the keyboard is working fine before login screen.

BUT - I am able to enter BIOS (keyboard working fine) and Acer Recovery Program (pressed by ALT + F10) and both keyboard and mouse working fine.

ONLY Login Screen not working where I have to type in password to unlock screen, however the keyboard’s number lock light went off when got on that screen, before that - it was light on while I am on BIOS and Recovery Program.

    This not even make sense.

    However, I tried those list.

    • System restore (failed third times).
    • Refresh PC (failed).
    • Startup Repair (failed).
    • Tried go on safe mode but keyboard and mouse not recognizing.
    • I tried unplug both usb and restart without it until login screen open and reconnect both keyboard and mouse, still not recognizing.

I tried everything, seem nothing work at the login screen.

    Any advice?

Step 1: Hardware and devices troubleshooter

    Control panel.

    2. Change the view by option on the top right to Large icons.

    3. Click on troubleshooting and click on the
view all option on the left panel.

    4. Run the Hardware and devices troubleshooter.

Step 2: Try updating the drivers from the Device Manager.

    a) Press Windows Logo + X keys on the keyboard.

    b) Click on Device Manager.

    c) Search for the Keyboard driver from the device list and right-click on it and select
    Update Driver Software.

    d) Follow the on-screen instructions and complete the installation of the latest driver.

Follow the above steps for mouse as well.

Windows 10 Pro 64Bit Non Responsive Mouse & Keyboard at Login Screen

    Non-responsive keyboard/mouse and general freezing.

    Hi

Yesterday evening, my mouse and keyboard started to be non responsive. I would be in the middle of writing a sentence, but all of a sudden my keyboard and mouse would stop working, then about 10 seconds later start up again. It wasn't a total system freeze, because chat messages would still appear on MSN, and everything would still move about on screen when i was playing a game. This happened on and off for about 1 hour, until I couldn't get the keyboard or mouse to work at all.

I booted my PC this morning, but my keyboard and mouse still failed to work. It would boot into Vista and XP fine (im dual booting), but they still wouldn't work - even before i could get into Windows. I reset cmos, I tried switching out the RAM but nothing seems to work, and the problem seems to be getting worse.

About 5 mins ago, I tried to boot into XP, but my whole system froze, and my motherboard let out a faint single beep. When I boot up, I get a single beep telling me that all (should be) fine.

Anyone ever had this problem? or anyone know how to fix it?

(Btw, I have tried different keyboards and mice, and I've tried plugging the USB ones in different sockets, but it didn't make a difference.)

    Thanks

    FAXA.
