Windows 10: Windows 10 pro activation issue

I had purchased Windows pro to upgrade my install of windows home from the Microsoft store. Attempting to install the upgrade brought up a blue dialogue window saying some thing like "preparing computer" . After about five minutes, it said the installation had failed. There was an error code, but I did not write it down unfortunately. I decided to restart the computer to try again, and during the boot up, Windows upgraded similarly to an update. After finishing the upgrade, I decided to check settings to confirm which type of Windows 10 I was currently running. However I noticed the small "Wi

Windows 10 pro

I need to change my motherboard, have windows 10 pro. When i google how to it says go to activation then add an account, my issue is there is no add an account option under activation? Or am I in the wrong window?



Not sure how to proceed, ive googled it and the same results. Do I have an OEM or? On the disk sleave it says OEI DVD?
