  1. Windows 10 Pro after recent 24 hours Major Upgrade causes files to disappear on locally...

I am using Paint, Snagit and other software to create JPGs from various design pieces. I check to make sure that the JPGs get created and then after creating 20(actual number), I go to consolidate them 2 at a time and half the files disappear from Quick Access and the folder while I am in the in the process of retrieving them. I feel that this is huge, I have WD My Cloud Mirror and Seagate external 8TB as well as extra HDs in the system but never saw anything like this. Samsung SSD and whole system quite new, Ryzen 7 2700 32GB.

I believe it has to do with File Explorer links. I would appreciate any help but I don't allow remote access on my system.

I really want help with my problems under restraints noted.

    :)

you get the idea. ( too lazy to put it in a for loop and test it.

or just open regedit and remove all the fileX from that key.

  3. Windows 10 Upgrade

    Hi,

Is there any info that we can download the Windows 10 ISO file or Bootable file to have a fresh install of Windows 10 using our recent Windows key or Upgrade key.

As far as I have known, installing via upgrade can cause some corrupt files and etc.

A reformat or clean install would be better.

    Any thoughts?

    Windows 10 Tweaks

Pressing “Windows+Pause Break” (it’s up there next to scroll lock) opens the “System” Window.

Windows 10: In the new version of Windows, Explorer has a section called Quick Access. This includes your frequent folders and recent files. Explorer defaults to opening this page when you open a new window. If you’d rather open the usual This PC, with links to your drives and library folders, follow these steps:

    • Open a new Explorer window.
    • Click View in the ribbon.
    • Click Options.
    • Under General, next to “Open File Explorer to:” choose “This PC.”
    • Click OK
