Windows 10: Windows 10 Pro > Cannot find Microsoft Photo Viewer

Hello All,I will appreciate your support in the following issue: When opening a picture using Microsoft Photo Viewer, this error was displayed: "Windows cannot find 'path of the pic'. Make sure you've typed the name correctly, then try again"I have performed reset on the Microsoft Photo Viewer Settings > Apps & features and then after I could not find the application. I did some updates in the registry regedit but it did not work.Can you please support how I can restore Microsoft Photo Viewer?Thanks Bernard

How to get rid of raw file support in windows photo viewer?




I have downloaded this, and it did not work; photo viewer is not in the list of programs in Open With or Default App. I used option 2 step 3, followed by step 5 to 9.

I suggest you to follow the below steps in order to change the default image viewer to Paint.

• In search,
• Type Default Programs.
• Check whether Windows Photo Viewer is listed in the list.
• Left click on the photo viewer and select the option paint.

Replacement for photo viewer

Just do not like this "new" photo viewer, it is just cumbersome to operate, lot of extra steps etc. I like the older Win photo viewer, however since JPG files are saved as "unhandled Extension handler finder", *Confused I need something else. Appreciate any suggestions that is not overly optioned, just a simple viewer. Tx
