    Windows 10 Pro Deleted 2408 of my Adobe Postscript Fonts in the last 24 hours!


    New system build, 91 hours into troubleshooting scores of problems...


    Yesterday, I installed in to the C:\windows\fonts folder, 2408 postscript fonts.


    I was able to open projects in QuarkXpress yesterday with no complaints of missing fonts.


    Today, I reopened the same projects and got two errors: Missing monitor profile and several missing fonts.


    I checked the Windows fonts folder and see that there are only 484 fonts in there.

    So I copied in my 2408 fonts again.


    I go start Quark and it is STILL complaining the fonts are missing.


    I check the Windows font folder and the fonts I just installed are GONE. There should be over 2500 fonts in there.


    Everything was working fine before yesterday's forced update. Since then, several things have stopped working and now I can't use Adobe fonts anymore.


    How do I fix this?

    Windows 10. 12 to 24 hours

    Hi Sandra,

    Thank you for posting in Microsoft Community.

    To change the time format from 12 hour to 24 hour in Windows 10.

    Follow the steps:

    • Navigate to Control panel.
    • In the category view of the control panel, click on the
      ‘Change date, time, or number formats’.
    • Change the short time to HH:mm from the drop down.
    • Press Apply to make the changes.
    • Now your time format will change to 24 hour format.

    Windows 10 Pro Deleted 2408 of my Adobe Postscript Fonts in the last 24 hours!

    Postscript Printer Driver will not load


    I need to download a Postscript Printer Driver to enable me to create PDF files from Pagemaker 7 files. Downloads from the Adobe website do not load - I get a message box: Severe X. Have wasted a lot of time on this - any suggestions?
