WINDOWS 10 PRO - FILE EXPLORER

I recently applied the latest set of Windows update 10/09/2020 and have noticed that File Explorer has changed its default display

    at startup.

Historically the display was split into 3 panes. The left side had 2 and the right side had 1.

Left top was the quick access/links which I could alter by adding/deleting from pin/unpin.

Left bottom was the basic drive info and folder information on my C drive which I could collapse.

Right side was the sub folder and file info for the currently active folder whether I clicked on a quick link or on a

    folder on my C drive.

The important part for me was to have all 3 panes continually displayed at the same time. Now when FE starts it show basic folder

information downloads, music etc. in a top pane and basic device / drive info in a bottom pane. That's it. Now when I expand my C drive

to display folders this is the only info I see. All other info is not displayed.

Anyone have any ideahow I can reset FE to the default status as note above .

This is what my system looks like.

    Windows 10 Tweaks

Pressing “Windows+Pause Break” (it’s up there next to scroll lock) opens the “System” Window.

Windows 10: In the new version of Windows, Explorer has a section called Quick Access. This includes your frequent folders and recent files. Explorer defaults to opening this page when you open a new window. If you’d rather open the usual This PC, with links to your drives and library folders, follow these steps:

    • Open a new Explorer window.
    • Click View in the ribbon.
    • Click Options.
    • Under General, next to “Open File Explorer to:” choose “This PC.”
    • Click OK

Some files listed in Windows Explorer are blue font

I seem to have run out of room on a Windows XP Pro system. I tried to defrag but don't have but 7% room available. I looked in Windows Explorer to try to find some huge files that might be corrupt and I see a few that are listed in blue. What does that mean? I have not compressed anything on purpose. Thanks
