  1. Windows 10 Pro is not getting Domain Group policy

    Hi, everyone!

I hope you, guys, will be able to help, as I am hopeless at this moment.

I have a mixed environment of Windows 10 Pro and Windows 7 (this is going away at the moment, but we still have some Win 7 PCs). The domain controllers are Win 2012 R2. Anyway... I have few Group Policy Objects that are targeting OUs with Win 10 and 7 computers. Soooo... Win 7 received all group policy and working just fine, however, Win 10 PCs don't apply GP. (Ok I am lying they do - only one - for drive mapping which is set on user level, and I am trying to implement Windows updates using WSUS server).

But honestly, it seems like any newly created GP doesn't apply to Win 10 computers.

I tried to create new OU and GP- no luck, checked delegation for particular GP and added domain computers with reading access - no luck, made sure I have the latest .ADMX - no luck.

Any suggestions will be much appreciated. Ugh... Frustration is real

  3. Domain and group policies

    Hello,

Can windows 8.1 and 10 be on the same domain and when using group policies are there any conflicts for this that cause any major issues.

    Thanks

Windows 10 Pro is not getting Domain Group policy

    Windows Domain Group Policy

The computers are fairly old and redirecting to the server is better. I forced group policy too update. I ended up figuring out the problem it was a permissions issue... imagine that. But I am having other problems such has setting the local administrator password, and I want to create some shortcuts on the desktop for all the users. Edit: it misdirects but now I cant write in the folder.. : /

Ok now I have that issue fixed *Big Grin Windows 10 Pro is not getting Domain Group policy :D But still am having other issues with loading the other group policy problems
