Windows 10: Windows 10 pro N, installed in India region, can`t hear cortana what to do?

Hi,


I am using Dell Latitude 3590 in India having windows 10 pro N. I can`t listen cortana? PLease help I have seen that we cant get inbuilt skype etc on Win pro N.

Cortana not available in supported region(India)

I downloaded the english(india) language pack and speech to

I set my region to india then (display language--> English india ; speech --> english UK) but then cortana said that she cannot help me in my region (india). too sad as I wasted my Internet data but got nothing.
plus I have the latest windows update installed...

that india is there in the list

I don't know this might help or not but I think that the Microsoft account I use was at the time of creating it it was set to US at that time.

does that makes a difference???

I suggest you to go through the below methods and check if it helps.

Step 1:

I suggest you enable settings in the Playback Devices and check if it helps.

Follow the below steps:

• Right click on the speaker icon on your taskbar.
• Select Playback Devices.
• Click on the Playback Devices and right click on the
  Speakers/Headphones.
• Check mark on the Show Disabled Devices and
  Show Disconnected Devices.

If the issue persists the follow the below step.

Step 2:

Cortana - why is it dependent on the phones region?

But she does care - Cortana doesn't work if your phone does not have the same region and language set* (and the language is on the supported list). My point is why is "quiet" mode tide into having Cortana available

*India is an exception
